We’re looking for an experienced Data Scientist to develop insights and frameworks that guide our product roadmap, and to build and maintain data driven optimization models that help elevate our business at scale. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Magic Eden, have strong analytical skills like experimental design, statistical modeling and dashboarding/data visualization. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to get a better understanding of our customers’ needs, and use that knowledge to drive and expand growth within our company.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data products to generate business insights and improve operational efficiency

• Use quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to understand what drives our company

• Provide insights in marketplace dynamics, users behaviors, and long-term trends

• Work closely with our data engineering team to make effective decisions and build pipelines

• Building advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining techniques that help improve our customer experience and enhance operational efficiency

• Design data modeling processes, create algorithms and predictive models

• Work closely with a team of engineers to implement, document and monitor our evolving data infrastructure

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in the data science/data analytics industry

• Basic understanding of experimental design (such as A/B testing) and statistical methods

• Ability and experience in extracting insights from data, and summarizing learnings / takeaways

• Proficient in SQL and some dashboarding/data visualization (i.e Tableau, Mixpanel, Looker, or similar)

• Strong cross-functional skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

• Strong analytical skills and ability to develop, and implement models and dashboards

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge in database, big data and modeling concepts

• A strong passion and in-depth understanding of the NFT ecosystem

• Knowledge of blockchain, crypto and web3 applications
