RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead our strong, passionate backend engineering team to ship new features, scale the platform, and architect & build novel decentralized protocols
- Work directly with the founder and head of engineering to determine and execute on top level engineering priorities
- Work with internal teams to ensure that solutions built satisfy requirements and maintain a high bar for quality
- Participate in code and architecture reviews of major projects
- Mentor and guide engineers in career growth and day-to-day duties
- Aid in recruiting and retaining great engineering talent
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams
- 6+ years of experience in software development roles
- Excellent at communicating with both engineers and others across disciplines
- Able to write readable, reusable, and performant code
- Adept at prioritizing and organizing tasks
- A leader who is excited to work for a fast-paced startup
- High-level understanding of product and technical concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
